What is Krav Maga?

Krav Maga is the famous Israeli system of unarmed battle. It is a modern and practical self-defence sport. The techniques of the sport are effective, simple and easy to learn for everyone, no matter the physical strength or fitness level. The system knows no rules, in the battle of life and death, everything is permitted. With this selfdefence sport, attacks are usually aimed at the crotch, eyes or throat of the attacker. You’ll learn how to defend yourself from your attacker.

Krav Maga lessons

Krav Maga is based upon the principle that it is quick and easy to learn for everyone. To reach this objective, the timetable for Krav Maga is divided into classes for different levels. In the lower levels the basic techniques are covered. For example, several punching and kicking techniques and the techniques to defend yourself from those. It is very important to master these skills, as it will enable you to learn more complex techniques with greater ease later in your training. In the training for the more skilled practitioners of Krav Maga, you will learn how to defend from a ground position and we will address several defending techniques against attacks involving weapons, like sticks, knives or guns.

Our Krav Maga trainer Jerry has been a certified ‘Krav Maga World Wide’ instructor since 2009. Besides that, he has over 20 years of experience in martial arts like kickboxing and karate.
