The 15 minutes core focus class is a group class in the fitness area, in which you will carry out different exercises to train your abdominal muscles. We focus mainly on the ´core´, or in other words the lower back muscles and the oblique and straight abdominal muscles. Sometimes equipment like bosu balls are used.
The 15 minutes of core focus is a group class in the fitness area on the Uilenstede location in Amstelveen. You will carry out a variety of exercises to strengthen the core and abs. In the time table, you will find this class every day! During the week this class takes place in the late morning and late afternoon. So, it’s perfect to quickly work out your abs during lunch break or after work or class. In the weekend the class is given in the afternoon. It is mainly focused on your core, or in other words your lower back muscles, the obliques and straight abdominal muscles. Besides the ´classic´ ab exercises, we also do a lot of ´planking´, and sometimes we use equipment like the BOSU balls. This equipment helps to improve your balance and strengthen your core.
This group class was recently added to our portfolio. However, you will find it on the time table every day, sometimes even a few times a day! Check the schedule for the exact hours. It is an ideal way of strengthening your core and abs. You can adjust the exercises to each fitness level, so the class is suitable for both beginners and advanced athletes. Register at the reception of the fitness area to join the 15 minutes of core focus. The class is usually given at the first floor of the fitness area. Make sure you wear sportswear, bring a towel and warm up slightly before the class.
