Barre can be described as a combination of Pilates / Posture Pilates / Barre.
Throughout the class you are consciously or unconsciously tightening your core. Your body is, as it were, walked along doing strength exercises as well as flexibility exercises.

At the VU Sports Center, you can take a Barre class every week.
This complete body workout has low impact and high intensity. It allows you to improve strength, flexibility and coordination. The class includes two components:
- exercises from our Posture Pilates class (strength exercises, stretches and coordination exercises for optimal posture in everyday life
- exercises at the bar (ballet barre) focusing on exercises with short repetitions, stretches and ballerina style.
