When Spring arrives, it's time to get out again! The perfect moment to start running outside. Do you want to work on your physical condition and running technique? Join the nice and sporty SVU Running group. A lot of students, VU-employees and other enjoy running with group for several years already!
These trainings take place at the Amsterdamse Bos. This well-know forest is located on walking distance of the VU Sports centre. The perfect place for a run outside. It's great to train here and to work on your condition and get to know this part of Amsterdam a little bit better at the same time. Joining the running group is possible at any time, but ofcourse it's most fun to join at the start of the training season and work together on a healthier body with your fellow group members.

Every Tuesday we gather at 18.15 at VU Sports centre at Uilenstede and this group arrives at the Amsterdamse Bos Stretching place at 18.30. You’re more than welcome to come to the VU Sports centre the first time and walk to the Amsterdamse Bos together with the trainer/group. It’s possible to bring your bike for the part to/from the woods.
The group is suitable for any beginning/mediocre runner to experience how much fun it is to start running (together) and what improving your running technique can mean for your training. Training will start in april and continue to the end of October.
There will be running training every Tuesday night, starting Tuesday 10 April 2018.
Start 18.15 at VU Sports centre Uilenstede and 18.30 Stretching area Amsterdamse Bos.
Last training is Tuesday 26 June 2018. In the summer months July and August you can practice with the group (without any obligations), in the months of September and October an autumn block is offered.
