BBBB is an intense, yet accessible group class
It focuses on training the abdominal, gluteal, leg and chest muscles. Regularly the 4th B stands for 'Back', to maintain the balance between Chest and Back, front and back of your body.
At Sportcentrum VU you can practice BBBB five days a week at Uilenstede in Amstelveen.
After a warming-up of about 15 to 20 minutes there are muscle-strengthening exercises to the beat of music, such as lunges and squats. Weights, dynabands and your own body weight are often used in the exercises. During the workout there is a lot of attention for the execution, so you get the optimal result from the lesson. The combination of continued movement and the exercises ensure that your heart rate increases during the workout and you give your body a boost to burn extra calories.
What do you need?
The dumbbells and dynabands for this class are available in the studios of Sportcentrum VU. It is important that you bring your own mat. If you don't have one, they are for sale at the desk. It is important that you wear good, supportive indoor sports shoes and comfortable sportswear. It is also advisable to bring a water bottle and a towel for sweating.
Note: The use of a towel is mandatory at Sports Center VU, in all group classes and in the fitness.
