Pump
Pump is a group class with music where you work on all your big muscles
You do this using barbells and dumbbells. The workout goes towards strength training, a serious resistance AND relatively many repetitions. This is because extreme muscle development is not the goal.
Developing a tighter body and training the endurance of your muscles is central. Burning energy by putting your muscles to work is the hallmark of this group class. It is also called "the fastest way to get in shape".
Pump lessons
To the accompaniment of fine music, the Pump lesson gets underway. Of course you start slowly during the warming up, but immediately with the help of barbells. After the warming up you give it your all with the help of barbells, dumbbells and to the beats of exciting music.
The instructor will give you instructions so that you apply a good technique to each exercise.
What do you need?
The dumbbells and barbells for the Pump class are available in the sports studios of Sportcentrum VU. For the Pump class it is important that you wear good, supportive indoor sports shoes and comfortable sports clothing. Bring your own mat if you do not want to lie on the step. It is also recommended that you bring a water bottle and a towel for sweating. Note: The use of a towel is mandatory at Sportcentrum VU, in all group classes and in the fitness area.
