Basketball
Basketball today is played in two forms
Traditional 5x5 on a whole field or the new trendy 3x3 game on half a field with modified rules. You can come to Sportcentrum VU for both forms!
As of September you can participate in recreational basketball at Sportcentrum VU every Tuesday from 20:15 at the Uilenstede location in Amstelveen. From 20:15 – 21:00 we offer a program for beginners. After that, players of all levels can come along and the group is divided so that there is room for everyone.
To participate in these recreational basketball sessions, you buy a separate basketball subscription.
Anyone can participate in basketball, men, women, young and old! Tournaments will also be organized on this evening during the season.
