Experience again (or for the first time) what it's like to complete a full HYROX race.

Follow our HYROX Training Club group lessons and use this simulation as the ultimate test towards a real HYROX race.

Singles
Check-in: 10:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.
Opening & Explanation: 10:15 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Start simulation: 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Tickets: €10 student | €20 regular
Doubles (per team)
Check-in: 2:00 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.
Opening & Explanation: 2:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Start simulation: 2:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Program:
- A complete 80-minute HYROX race simulation.
- We work in blocks of 5 minutes per exercise.
- This makes it suitable for all levels: you work at your own pace.
- Every 5 minutes, a signal sounds and you move on to the next station.
- Between each exercise, you run for 5 minutes. You start the race by running.

Scoring & guidance
- Our crew will guide you at each station during your performance.
- You report your distance/reps, and we record everything.
- After the event, you will immediately receive a personal scorecard with your results.
Practical information
- You will receive the wave schedule, route, and start time by email one week in advance.
- Upon arrival, you will check in with your ticket and receive a start number.
- Spectators are welcome.
- Afterwards, you are welcome to visit the sports café.
What to bring?
- Sportswear and clean indoor shoes.
- Towel.
- Water/water bottle + any energy gels.
- Your ticket/purchase confirmation (digital or printed).

No. The HYROX simulation is suitable for all levels. You work at your own pace and are guided by our crew.
No. This is a HYROX simulation, set up as a training and testing event. The setup and components are similar, but it is not an official HYROX race.
One week before the event, you will receive an email with your wave assignment, start time, and practical information.
You work in blocks of 5 minutes per component. Every 5 minutes, a signal sounds and you move on to the next station. You report your distance or repetitions to the crew, who record this for you. Afterwards, you will receive a personal score sheet.
Yes. At Sportcentrum VU, we offer HYROX Training Club (HTC) group classes in which you train for the components that are featured in this event and a real HYROX race.
Yes, spectators are welcome to cheer you on.
No refunds will be given on tickets if you are unable to attend. However, you can transfer your ticket to someone else. Please notify us by sending an email to: a.s.rabbani@vu.nl.
Yes, images will be taken during the event for promotional purposes. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please inform the organizers in advance or on the day itself.
No, we apply the age limit that applies to the entire Sports Center.
This means you must be at least 16 years old to participate.
