Sportcentrum VU, USC, and SSA nominated for the Penning Award

Sportcentrum VU, USC & SSA have been nominated for the Penning Award. This is an annual award presented by the Amsterdam Sports Councilto a person or organisation that has made an exceptional contribution to sport in the city.

A tremendous honour! The reason for our nomination is that, thanks in part to our efforts, thousands of students continue to have access to a wide range of affordable sports activities, despite impending price increases that would make sports inaccessible to many young people.

The award ceremony took place on Thursday 3 July at the Stadsschouwburg in Amsterdam. During the festive evening, it was announced that Northside Ballers Amsterdam had been chosen as the winner of the Penning.
