Afro Booty
Get ready to shake your booty on your favourite afrobeat, soca, dancehall and afro-brazilian songs!
We kick off the class with a dynamic warming up that prepares you for the rest of the class.
During the class you use your bodyweight, with the optional extra challenge of a dynaband, to train your legs and glutes.
Afro Booty shape is for everybody!
This class is a mix of dance focused and exercise focused songs that make you want to move your body on the music.
The class is every Friday at 10:00.
From March 2025, this afrobooty class will be extended with 15 minutes, making it a 45-minute workout class. In this extra time we also include some exercises to train our upper body.
This effective but most of all fun afrobooty workout is the best way to start your Friday!

What to bring
It is important that you wear easy-fitting sports clothes and shoes. Bring a water bottle and a towel.
Note: The use of a towel is mandatory at Sport Center VU, at all group classes and in the gym.
