Introduction to Pole Dancing

Pole dancing is a challenging form of exercise, without heavy weights or boring treadmills.

Have you always wanted to learn how to pole dance?

Join the new 8-week beginner’s course and get introduced to this sport to learn the basic techniques.
Each session lasts 45 minutes and is held at the Uilenstede location.

Safety & Preparation

Before starting each session, keep the following guidelines in mind:

  • Proper Attire: Wear short shorts and a sleeveless top to expose your skin, which provides the necessary grip on the pole.
  • No Lotions or Oils: Do not apply body lotions or oils 12 hours before class to prevent slipping.
  • Warm-up First: Never skip a 10 to 15-minute joint mobility and muscle activation warm-up.
  • Use Grip Aids: Use liquid chalk or suitable grip aids on your hands and contact points as needed.
